16 Teams... TWO Trades?!?

Am I the only one a little surprised that the day after the draft, only 2 trades have been pulled off? There are plenty of teams with holes (poor Team Bouldin), and several illegal lineups out there (some of you guys have too many SP), so I am a little bit surprised that not more has been done yet.

 

Of course, we still have two weeks before the season begins, so I guess I shouldn't be all that shocked.

I'm surprised there have been trades. Normally there aren't any because everyone just drafted their team and is content.

Yeah I don't make trades unless I absolutely have to. I don't draft my team with the intention of trading players I draft to help me elsewhere. That can come back to bite you in the rear. Some guy in another one of my leagues drafted one starter and 7 closers and was immediately hocking them off on people. No one has bothered with him yet

No one got exactly what they wanted but they got as good as they feel the could get for the most part and realize it is not likely for any team to accept a trade that will make you better.

I knew this was coming, and I was fairly certain from whom it would come.

 

Being surprised that people haven't made more trades does not equate to me making one that doesn't benefit me at all, just for the sake of making a deal. I just see several teams with holes and most illegal teams have too many pitchers, so I would think that some of them would try to trade their extra players who will be released anyway. I'm sure that as Sunday approaches we will see some kind of action.

Oh, I know. There is one person who I can expect to bust my chops every chance he gets. I think we both know who that is. :ninja:
