I just sent it via PayPal. I just got home and my password was saved on my laptop so I had to wait until I got home to send it, I've been in Knoxville the past week. Sorry about that.

How is Knoxville? I'm thinking of moving down there. My wife was accepted to the university.

Knoxville is great. I miss it. Lived there for 30 years. It has small town charm, but is much larger than you think. I'd be happy to tell you all about great places to live, eat, and be entertained. Seriously, depending on where you are looking, I would recommend to anyone to live there- especially if your wife is going to school there. You will see college football in a whole new light.

I live in the Knoxville area, feel free to contact me. I can help with areas to live in. Knoxville is a great area. The cost of living is very reasonable. Housing costs never got to high and they are holding their own. There are a great places to eat. Entertainment is improving. If you are into outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. you'll be in heaven.

You live in Clinton, right? I grew up in North Knoxville, have lived on campus, in West Knoxville, and in Fountain City. If I ever leave where I am right now, I hope it's to get back to Knoxvegas. I love that city.

I am stoked about moving there. On Monday we are making our final trip with our stuff and we will be there permanently! The only problem we are currently having is my dad is having a rough time finding a decent paying job. He is a Graphic Designer/Art Director with 27 years experience if anyone has any leads.

Problem there is that the market for Design jobs is SLLLOOOOOWWW. Not just there, but everywhere.

Have him call Studio 4, Knoxville Magazine, the MetroPulse (won't be a high paying job), or Freeman Melancon Bryant Advertising. I worked as a Graphic Artist for two years in Knoxville, and the market there has been slow since around 2000. Not saying that there are NO jobs, but there certainly aren't many right now.

We've just been doing basic research on the area. We just accepted an offer on our house here in Iowa, but it will be a while before we can move.

I'm finishing up my Broadcast degree...............is there a good sports talk station down there or is just ESPN/Fox/SportingNews radio type stations?

Any info on what areas to look at housing would be great too. I've been told to stay away for the east side by a few people online, but haven't been given any direction on where the nice areas are. I want family oriented communities. I can't be on campus town with 5 kids!

I'm running into a meeting right now, but will respond to this later tonight.

He had an interview at Knoxville Magazine and they told him he was overqualified. It's not like he's looking for a boat load of cash, we know he is going to take a cut in pay because we are moving from Orlando and the pay scale in Knox isn't as high. I will have him contact the others, thanks man.

there are actually 2 local sports talk stations here in Knoxville. Sports Animal 99 and ESPN 1180.

Are you looking to buy or rent? I work with alot of home builders and realtors in the Knoxville area. I can get you in touch with alot of people if you are looking to buy. I work in the construction field.

Where to live? I would look to live out west or towards Maryville. The schools in Maryville are excellent. In Knoxville, I would look in Farragut, Hardin Valley, Powell, Bearden and Karns. I would stay away from the east side. It's not that bad, but all the good shopping and restaruants are on the west side.

Let me know what you are looking for and I will be glad to help you.

I probably won't buy right away. I'll have a nice little nest egg after selling my house, but I'm going to wait and see what the economy does.

I'm actually exiting the construction field. I've operated a fairly good size company for quite a few years, but many of my builders have gone under...............hence my schooling. It's possible I may build if I really like it down there and find a nice spot. I haven't thought that far ahead, but it's certainly a possibility.

Thanks for the info though. I look into those areas and see if I find something.

If you don't get mine by Wednesday, I guess, I'll just send payment again. That sucks though.

Sweet... a comedian. I'm a little worried. You sent it February 26th, and it hasn't arrived on March 8th. That's a long time. Of course, nothing surprises me as far as mail is concerned.
