That is such a stupid rule... seriously... he was trying to block it not run into the kicker. I know it's a rule blah blah blah but I still think it's dumb.

I think football is WAY too pussified, but the punter is literally hung out dry when kicking.

really? what's he hanging by? I've never noticed any wires or that punters are particularly wet. They usually don't even sweat.

Are you being obtuse on purpose? The punter is usually in the air (thus the word "hung") in those situations.

So he's jumping in the air and staying there to dry out. that's what you said. if you had not written "literally" it wouldn't have drawn any notice.

Whatever. I'm busy trying to watch the game and don't want to argue over semantics with someone to thickheaded to get the point of what I was trying to say.
