Drafting Matt Hasselbeck over Jay Cutler. Whoops.

I got Cutler, but I got him in the 7th round, 2 rounds after I drafted Mark Bulger with high hopes of him returning to form.

That's paid off in dividends! I could've gotten McNabb instead

I drafted Hasselbeck over McNabb but I made up for it by taking Rodgers with the 119th pick (12th round)

Last week, I traded for Thomas Jones, Darren McFadden, and Jake Delhomme. I didn't start D-Mac, and he had a huge game, earning 35 points.

So this week, I thought I'd outsmarted the football gods. I decided to start D-Mac. "Ha, I'm so clever", I said to myself, as I hastily benched Ronnie Brown for Darren McFadden.

 He had 4 rushing TDs and 1 passing, and could've gotten me 52 points.

I had Thomas Jones today, and I thought I could still pull out the win, but the Jets didn't hand off to Jones for all of the 4th quarter, so I ended up losing by 5.

My team's 0-3, and I could've been 2-1 if I had made the right moves. If you haven't noticed by this post, I'm not too good at fantasy football. ;)

Yeah, that whole Thomas Jones thing worked out really well for me. I had him starting in one league where I was up 50 points going into Monday night and only had to worry about the Chargers D. I was up against him in another and had a 5 point lead going into Monday night and he only scored 2, giving me the win. I'm usually on the other end of both of those scenarios.

I dropped Kyle Orton in one league because I had Jason Campbell as my starting QB and Carson Palmer as my backup.

Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb!

I traded Forte for Braylon Edwards early in the season. That was bad, bad, bad.

Luckily, I've made some good ones to counterbalance it. Larry Fitz and Julius Jones for Anquan Boldin and Lee Evans in one just as Boldin was coming back from his injury is looking like an absolute steal right now. After wk 1, I traded the Cowboys defense and Joe Flacco for the Bucs D and Jason Campbell (who I subsequently traded for Willie Parker). The guy I traded Flacco to released him, and the Cowboys D has sucked. He put a claim in on Flacco the other week but got beat to it. He's been trying to get me to trade him the Bucs d back for three weeks now.

I've been trying to trade for Thomas Jones since just before his bye week, but the other guy wouldn't move him for anything then, and he certainly isn't going to now.
