Scully just said that Yost wears #3 in honor of Dale Earnhardt Sr.

 

That about seals the deal for me

 

On ESPN the other day they showed Yost's office and there's a huge framed poster/picture of Earnhardt Sr. in there. I'm serious.

Damnit. Fielder grounds out 3-unassisted. Tying run to third base, go-ahead run at second.

1. Rangers - 688

2. Cubs - 662

3. Red Sox - 632

 

28. Padres - 465

29. Giants - 462

30. Nationals - 454

 

 

Runs Allowed:

1. Dodgers - 480

2. A's - 481

3. Blue Jays - 482

4. Rays - 484

5. Cubs - 502

 

28. Rockies - 646

29. Pirates - 658

30. Rangers - 750

 

Yeah... the Cubs look pretty good. But how ridiculously bad is that Rangers pitching?

Interesting how 3 sub .500 teams are in the top 3 in runs allowed. I guess it proves that good pitching wont beat good hitting any day.

those numbers are off -- the Padres have given up 574 runs
