It might happen but it won't really accomplish much. He'll start next year at Peoria and 2 weeks at Peoria this season won't push his ETA up.

Oh I know, I just want a chance to see him this year. I could do that in three weeks when I am back in Peoria for my cousin's wedding.

Yeah, I doubt Vitters is in Peoria this year. If they've waited this long with his current success, I doubt they would. Then again, maybe they would for a game or two just to meet some of his teammates again since he will be there next year.
