He'll head out for a 4th inning of work.

Flaherty with an XBH, this time a double. Vitters is 1 for 4 with that single and 2 strikeouts looking. Marwin Gonzalez has 2 doubles.

I'm paying more attention to the Dodgers-Cardinals game but I'm pretty sure I heard the broadcaster say Searle is topping out in the low 90s.

Bad outing for Toby Matchulat - he gave up 4 ER in 0.2 innings.

But Julio Peña was great following him: 4.1 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K, 4 GO-2 FO. Career high in strikeouts.

Ty Wright has hit 5 homers in the last 10 - he has 2 total.

Last 10: .353/.436/.824/1.260

Season: .299/.366/.414/.780

He's hiked his OPS by .080 during that span. His power had been deficient all season, while he displayed good patience and a nice average. It'd be great if he can keep improving his slugging.

That is not a good picture for Jon. Someone is in need of a Wii Fit.

I noticed the blurb about Papelbon going over 20 consecutive innings scoreless. Is he much of a prospect for us at this point? Don't hear his name mentioned much.

He's not as good as his older brother. He could become a decent middle reliever.
