Is Brewerfan.net near implosion?

Here are some of the goodies.

I guess that's why they are the Brewers.....They will be tied for the wild card after tonight. How depressing. I am afraid this series is going to start a downward spiral the rest of the year.

Theriot is killing us...he needs to get one in the ribs

My hatred for small, white shortstops continues to grow.

I've got some sharp implements if any of you would like to stab Corey. Kapler might not have great July numbers, but it's hard to imagine anyone being worse than Corey Hart is right now. Well, outside of Bill Hall.

Nothing, I mean absolutely NOTHING is going right for the Brewers this series. The Cubs are NOT this good. This is their World Series and they are playing like it. Well, it was a fun year for 4 months. As a Brewer fan, that is more then I can say in most season's. Good thing football season is here.

Looks like those were cut and pasted from gamethreads here with the names changed

like i said, i'll call them brothers.

The only negative to me right now is the fact that the Cubs looked so awful for the 10 games before this. How does it magically turn on in one series?

They never play well against those pesky D-Backs and Marlins for some reason

Villone is good for a ding-dong. That guy's pants are on fire most nights out there.

Too bad about leaving those two out there, D-Ro, but obviously feeling pretty good if Demp can get through the heart in the 6th without drama.

Something about those 90's expansion teams aside from the Rockies that they always have our number.

From our buddy ELCABALLO45...

And a scrub like Reed Johnson gets a RBI...

Hey, I don't have a problem with the guy. Frankly, I'd feel the same way if I were him.

They play better at home than they do on the road.

Reed the last week has .375/.444/.875 in 18 PA's. He's playing really well right now.

I wonder if cancer has made Sutcliffe say "Screw it, I'm going to unashamedly hit on Erin Andrews on air from now on."

I think he was doing that before. Either way, it's great television.

and yet here we are, on the verge of winning our 3rd straight on the road. That's why I'm asking. How do we blow goats on the road against Houston and Arizona, then also at home against florida, but then come in and crush the Brewers on the road

So Will Carroll (Rotoworld, BP) says Manny, hermida, bay deal is done. Gammons says talks are ongoing and trade is unlikely.

Rumor round here was Cards maybe getting Bay, so I reckon this is good news.

It would be weird having the Marlins get a star player from the Red Sox. It would also be lovely to have Bay out of the division.

Well, this is like a quasi-home game.

how great is it that hermida would be back in town to crush home runs against us again so soon
