Trading with ticket brokers?

Has anyone ever tried trading tickets with ticket brokers outside of Wrigley before a game or in advance? Do any of them do it? I have a single for the 8/8 game against St. Louis that I'm trying to trade for a comparable single to the 8/1 game vs. Pittsburgh. I'd imagine that the St. Louis game would be more valuable to them.

Yeah they'll try to do it, but much like buying tickets they will try to rip you off. I would recommend going in advance as opposed to doing it on gameday.

Cool, thanks. I can go during lunch and shop around a bit. I didn't want to waste a lunch break taking care of it, though, if none of them traded. I have a rather generic terrace reserve outfield seat for that game, but it'll be my first week at a new job. I'm done with this job on 7/31, so 8/1 would be perfect.
