ok not to nitpick...but some things..

 

first, thanks to ESPN for not showing a Bartman clip like last week.

two, why does Joe Morgan always look drunk?

three, please ESPN and Joe Morgan keep explaining the adjustments the Sox made to Aramis EVERY AT BAT..

 

and finally, I am a die hard cub fan and get excited...

but for the love of Mike: the annoying fan in the green behind home plate...

 

dude....calm down..I would be excited too to return the sweep, but this is not Game 6 of the series....

 

I mean if it is a strike against your team - not the end of the world...

and a strike against the Cubs is not bring another ring.....

and not every fly ball is a home run!

Joe Morgan is to the analysis of baseball; as a magnifying glass, combined with the sun, is to ants. And maybe its all the years spent working with him, but Jon Miller isn't much better anymore.

 

Like from tonight's game, the GIDP that Cedeno was called out on at first, but clearly beat the throw;

 

"I don't know, Jon. I'd like another angle of that play, to see if Cedeno's foot hit the bag before the ball hit the glove."

 

 

Gee, ok, Joe. Nevermind the simple fact, in slo-mo replay, that Cedeno has "possibly" hit the bag when the ball is still a few inches from the glove, and is going "through" the base as its entering the 1B's mitt, aka throw not yet been secured. [-(

Joe Morgan is not a Cubs fan. I think it goes back to his playing days, though I have nothing to back up that sentiment. Maybe it's a bleed-out from his Sandberg hangup. Who knows.

 

I do watch SNB almost every week and a lot of the BBT nightly shows. And anytime the Cubs are having great success and Morgan is in the conversation, he is the dissenter, always talking about Pujols and the Cardinals first, sometimes the Brewers second.
