Trade thoughts

I just made a trade. I need a better first baseman because Swisher isn't cutting it. I traded Hunter Pence and Jered Weaver for Conor Jackson and Scott Olsen. I then proceded to drop Billy Butler and picked up David Murphy, who will replace Pence.

 

Thoughts?

What's the format? What other 1B were out there? I think Pence was the best player in that deal and I never like giving up the best player, unless it's a keeper league and I'm already out of it. But without more, I'm not sure how to evaluate the deal.

On the surface I don't really like any part of that trade for you.

 

I like Pence better than Jackson, Weaver better than Olsen, and Butler better than Murphy.
