When Scott Eyre returns, look for Marshall to take Marqis spot until Hill returns. The Cubs are going to stretch Marshall out and they will give Lieber and Marshall the oppurtunity to take those spots until Hill is back.

I kinda hoped that Gallagher would be given the next shot. The weight he lost seems to have added velocity, and he has been sharp down at Iowa. The non-Brian Roberts trade keeps making me happier.

Cedeno

Gallagher

Patterson

Marshall

Ceda

Murton

Some combination of those players would have gone and I'm happy to have all of them

Lou would like two LHP in the rotation.

If you're going to speak this authoritatively you really need a source.

Sorry, if that is the way it sounded. It's not authoritive at all. These things are always fluid, it's just that if things go well with Lieber start, and Lou would like another LHP until Hill is back. I really don't think getting into sources is good for anyone. I would never betray people I know for the sake of sounding like I knew something. I just want to contribute to this site.

Then what you need to do is quite simple: never post anything in the form of this OP. If you have an absolute assertion regarding the future of the Cubs, it needs evidence. If you can't provide it, for whatever reason, it needs to have caveats of some sort. What you did here is just annoying to everyone and likely to get you ignored in the future.

Not sure what you meant by OP. However I will pass along any info I see to be unharmful and fit, and if people want to ignore it no prob.

And the title states "Look for", not absolute assertion.

If this is the case then Gallagher needs to be sent back to Iowa so he can start.

Yeah, but right now they need someone to give them some solid innings and what if Gallagher impresses them enought to replace Lieber or Marquis?

Woah, it took me too long to figure out what that meant. And short of breaking Orel's scoreless innings streak, I don't think anything Gallagher does impresses enough because he had a bad 11 innings or so last year and Lou is a raving lunatic.
