What to do with Tulo?

Drop him? Let him occupy the DL spot for half the season? Trade him?

 

I would much like to get some advice, although I'm currently leaning towards just stashing him away.

I have him in 2 leagues where I don't really have a good backup. I've been waiting for him to hit the DL for the last several days so I could add a replacement. In 1 league, I have Harden about to come off the DL, so I'll swap them out. In the other league, I have a free DL spot.

 

In both leagues, I'm going to put him on the DL, but if his spot is needed in the next several weeks, he's getting dropped. I'll try to remember to pick him up just before he's ready to come back, but he's been a disastrous pick for me. And to think, in one league, I accidentally drafted Furcal 2 rounds after I picked Tulo. I ended up trading Furcal and keeping Tulo. Argh.

Considering the pick you used to get him and the likelihood of not having a viable long-term replacement, I think you have to keep him.

 

In the league that I have him, I am going to swap him for Soriano in my DL spot and already picked up Aybar, who thankfully was available.

Yes, where I have a DL spot, I'm keeping him. But he's been terrible and he could miss months. If I have to drop him to put a more productive player on the DL, I'll do it.

Have him in one of my leagues, luckily I have an open DL spot. I was somehow able to pick up Yunel Escoder to fill the void.

 

In the league I'm serious about with a group of friends, I'm happy I traded Tulo. In fact, I trade Tulo and Santanna for Hanley and C.C. Great move in hindsight.

 

As for what to do with Tulo, keep him in a DL spot unless you need it for someone else. If forced to drop him, make sure you don't forget about him so you can add him before he comes back.
