Yeah that was a BS call. Great game though, hopefully the Caps can win it and extend the series.

Great game...felt like a Flyers win the whole time to me though. i think that kinda kills the series, game 5 will be the Caps last (as much as I don't want that to be true it's just how i feel).

apparently basic thuganomics don't work so well.

 

despite dominating the first two periods (or so i have read. i couldn't see the game. the nhl network completely whiffs on coverage of teams in the western conference. plus it's quite crazy how the american network showing the playoffs will give preference over the series with a canadian team in the the west rather than the ones that are all american. just an observation, nothing more.) the avs came out of st. paul with a win. would have been a pretty good win on the scoreboard but for a goal by the wild at 2.5 seconds left.

 

so now the avs have 2 shots to win 1. i think we will get this done at home because nobody wants to go back to minnesota for another game.

 

just as i was typing this, it just came to me that the two teams have played 13 games between each other already, 6 in a row and possibly a total of 15. that's as many as some teams play others in 4 years. thanks nhl for creating such a stupid schedule.

Jose Theodore stole that game for you guys. As the the Canadian broadcaster said on TSN all that was missing from this game was a gun and a mask. Oh yeah can we stop with thuggery nonsense. What happened in Game 4 happens in the playoffs when there is a blow out. You must forgotten about your Av's past in Colorado. You guys used to have a guy playing for you named Claude Lemieux.

 

As far as game 6 I really think the Wild win and bring it back to St. Paul. Then Game 7 is up in the air. I do agree with your NHL schedule opinion though.

so funny. after the game sean avery called marty brodeur "fatso" which is hilarious in a bizarre, 1st grade way.

 

I think the Predators are done now...for a while i thought they were gonna pull off the upset but i have trouble seeing them winning two in a row again, including a game 7 on the road.

 

come on stars, finish off the ducks already.

there is a difference between beating up your opponent down 5 in the playoffs and beating up your opponent down 1 in the playoffs. if you can't see a difference between that, then i can't really help you. again, you didn't answer my question posed above. what thuggish activities did claude lemieux participate in in playoff blowouts?

 

one other thing, you did not see me apologize for anything lemieux did you? thuggish activity is thuggish activity no matter which team is doing it.

Yeah I'm a little upset. Thing aren't going well for my team. As far as the thug behavior. From the beginning of the franchise the Wild were considered soft. Now all of a sudden the Av fans call them thugs because the play physical. It's actually hilarious. Chris Draper says high from Claude's past.

hey no problem. i don't question physical play. i just question physical play when the game is well out of hand. it doesn't serve anything but letting off frustrations. if the avs were beating up your players in a blowout loss i would be saying the same thing against my team.

this is the best single day for sports (personally) that i can remember. cubs/mets in HD, bruins/habs game 7, and caps/flyers game 6. all starting at the same time.

it's 2-2 now but it's pretty obvious to any philly sports fan how this game will end. the "horn-horn-horn, let's go caps" thing is hilariously lame. let's pipe this in because our fans don't really know when to cheer.
