Lou Ejection Watch 2008

I think there was a thread last year where we guessed the game Lou would get ejected. Personally, I had fun with the anticipation and eventual blow-up of Lou. It was a calculated ejection by Lou and he has said he is embarrassed for how he acted last year. Some questions: Will this team give Lou a reason to "divert attention" again? Is Lou embarrassed enough about last year he will not get ejected this year? If not, what game will Lou let loose?

He may have been embarrassed, but theres almost do doubt that at some point in the course of the season something will piss him off enough to blow his top. When...I don't know. That just depends how well/poor the team does I think.

I think he will get kicked out of a game but it will be more subdue. I'm thinking the Cubs are slow to start the second half and Lou goes off July 30th in Milwaukee.

I see no harm in this thread. Yes, it is the new annual tie-breaker in the predictions contest, but if people want to discuss it separately that's fine. There may be people not participating in the contest who are still interested in talking about this.

 

For the record, my guess is July 4. Lou will provide the fireworks.

Personally, I would really love to see the Cubs come out hot in April. We always seem to start out slow. It's also nice that we aren't playing 9-12 games against the Reds right away when they still foolishly think they have a chance.

 

So, given that, if the Cubs start out hot I don't think we'll see Lou get the heave-ho until August. I pick August 19th.
