A roto league is where you compete against all teams simultaneously. Generally they work like this (I'll use a 16-team league as an example): Your scoring in each category is based on your standing for a week relative to the rest of the league. For home runs, as an example, the team in the league with the most home runs for the week gets 16 points and the team with the fewest gets 1 point. Same across the other categories. Standings are based on your total points across all categories, not win-loss record against other teams. If you have 16 teams and 10 categories the most points you can get in a week is 160 and the fewest is 10.
