NSBB fantasy baseball 2008

Ok, who's interested in this league again this year? I know I wasn't as active commishing as I should have been near the end of last year, but I had a death in the family and my mind was other places.

 

Anyway, I've set this league up for several years now and it's always been pretty fun. However, a non-Cubs fan has won the league the last 2 years in a row (i think). Let's show this Tigers fan who the smartest fans in baseball really are!

 

Anyone who is interested, please PM me. I'll make the league tonight, and start sending out invites. We probably won't draft until Feb 25th or 26th at the earliest, first week in March at the latest.

 

Standard 5x5, live draft, 12-14 teams depending on the interest level I get.

An edit:

 

Due to new changing hours at work, the draft MAY be able to take place either this coming monday after 5 pm central, or this coming wednesday after 5 pm central.

 

Once people start coming in, I'll start posting times I'm available, and then choosing the time in which is best for everyone. I very, very much doubt I'll be able to find a time that's great for everyone, so be forewarned.

Any idea when that draft time will be? I'm gonna be in Mexico for my cousin's wedding from the 21st-27th at some luxurious resort (probably a donkey show bar knowing my cousin). I'm sure they have internet there so I could do the draft. At least I hope they do, if they don't and we decide to do it within the next week and a half I'm screwed, but I was just curious if we were planning on doing this as soon as it fills up or if we were gonna wait for a little while after spring training started?

I won't worry about draft time until I get the league filled. Then I'll ask everyone when they're available and set a draft time from there.

It'll be same format at the other league, although I have no earthly idea when I'm going to hold the draft. I know for a fact it'll be sometime in March, but that's all I can tell you.
