Is BP 2008 worth the 20 something $ price? I've never bought one of their preseason books, is it individual player reports or team by team or what?

I bought last years handbook and it was money well spent in my opinion. It does individual projections as well as team projections. It also has a lot of minor league profiles and rankings. I'll definitely buy this years when it's released.

I subscribe to the website for $5 a month. You get all the projections plus a lot more exclusive content than you'll find in the book, although the book is a great purchase either way. If all you're interested in are the projections, then the book is probably the way to go

This is the main problem with Mephistopheles. It's not like I can plug in a question whenever I want or sort through his proprietary data in the wee hours of the morning. He's a luxury good with an increasing marginal utility, so I need to supplement him with a durable good with diminishing marginal utility, or something like that.
