SoCal also noticed that the waiver order is not at all congruent with how teams finished the 2007 season, so I wanted to double check and make sure that the waiver order is not the draft order. If not, great. If it is, how did the teams that were the 2 worst end up drafting 6th and 7th?

Just curious...

Draft order is in reverse order of points from last season:

Hosak

Incarcerated Scarfaces

SoCal Cubs

Vinestal

Slainte

Gutless Choking Dogs

Banedon

Ocho Loco

Buckner hits a Double

White Soxoholics

Roady

Minnesota Masterbatters

The draft will snake.

While I like the look of that, I disagree that it should be points that determine order of draft. I really do think the first order should be determined by record, and then points as first tiebreaker, but I am more than happy to keep it this way!

FYI - This does not reflect any trades with draft choices.

Points is a better estimate of the real strength of a team. The idea is to give the weaker teams first crack at the best players in the draft.
