Is there a deadline......

so I did a little searching but I haven't seen anything regarding any kind of deadline to sell the Cubs. Is there a dead line at all?

 

I am just really anxious to see who buys the team. I am really hoping for Cuban.

 

I really am surprised at the Fukudome deal, I thought they would be a little more dormant this year with the sale pending. But on that note....the Fukudome deal really goes along the lines of decisions that Cuban has made for the Mavs. He goes outside the box to create the best team possible. He doesn't always look in the same places for players that all the other teams in the league would traditionally look, even though more MLB teams are looking abroad. Maybe he had some influence on the pursuit of Fukudome? :-k

 

Either way....I want the sale to go through sooner then later and really hope Cuban is the guy. He would shake up a sport like no one else could. Although the traditionalists wouldn't like it.....the traditionalists are the ones that turned a blind eye to the whole steroid thing with the hope that it would just pass. [-(

No deadline that I'm aware of. But, the Fukudome contract increases the value of the team in several ways.
