Holy crap. That's sweet. If you have multiple games between 297-299, doesn't that mean you are a choker? How the hell do you bowl 11 straight strikes and then screw up the last one?

 

Just kidding, sort of, but that's a great accomplishment either way. I was ecstatic when I broke 200, the one time.

Yeah, before the 200, I put up 190s about 7 straight times. Sucked. Since then, I haven't gotten more than about 175. Haven't bowled in years though.

I bowled a 300 on Pogo Bowling once, but I think actually bowling one is person is a more satisfying accomplishment! Congrats!

That's more my speed. Most of the times I've ever gone bowling, I'm lucky to clear 100, and a 125 would be a good game.

 

However, I went bowling once for the first time in probably 10 years. Rented a ball and some shoes, started rolling balls down in the alley in my first game and proceeded to roll 8 strikes in a row. Finished with a 245. Next game, I was right back down to somewhere around 125. Haven't bowled since.

 

I'd say my high game before that fluke 245 was maybe a 180 in approximately 100 games I've bowled?

 

Too bad there weren't any house pros in the room when I got on my roll. It would have to just piss someone off to know a guy can walk in off the street and rent shoes and a ball, and roll 8 strikes in a row. :D

It was pretty funny actually. Usually if anyone on my team gets the front nine strikes, there is this guy on the team that will buy you a shot to calm you down before the 10th frame. Well, he wasn't there this week, so I went and bought my own shot, and managed to finally finish it out. Another funny thing about it is that we have this one guy that subs for us, and he's been there for every one of my high scores (299, 298, 297, 296 (2x)). I would say yes, I've choked in all of those situations but the 299, it was a great shot. I was so excited the night I got it, I had to post. Thanks for the kind words. Definitely my best sports experience so far, and that includes some pretty good baseball ones.
