Anyone care to tell me how soap dropper became such a vogue part of NSBB lexicon?

Seriously, why does Soriano keep leading off? Move him down in the lineup already. This is getting ridiculous.

 

Can we stop this? We all know it's not going to happen. They basically promised Soriano the leadoff spot, and he sucked those two games he wasn't there, so Lou is going to go off that. I don't agree with it either, but Soriano is our leadoff man for the rest of the year.

 

I love how "he sucked in the 5th spot because he wasn't comfortable", but nothing is mentioned by Lou when Soriano is terrible in the lead-off spot. I know it's not going to change. Doesn't mean that it's not stupid.

Oh, and Bob Brenly blamed it on the pitcher. According to Bob, Kendall can be blamed for approximately 2 of the baserunners he hasn't thrown out.

 

And yeah, our pitchers do suck at holding on baserunners, but not as bad as Kendall sucks at defense.

Bob's an old catcher. He's always going to stick up for the catcher. That said, Kendall is terrible.

Oh I know, I agree with you. I'd love to see Soriano moved down in the order too, but at this point in the season I'm not expecting it to happen. If it does, I'll be shocked.

I'm so glad this game is on WGN for the sole reason that I got sick of hearing that Astros announcers call Lee El Caballo every time he did something. I don't think they called him by his name once.
