Well the fact that I would have confidence of the first 6 guys getting on base, and the 3-5 hitters having excellent power (not at the moment lol). I consider that dominant... and DeRosa is nothing to sneeze at either.

It hasn't been just "at the moment" for most of the season. The power they're missing is pretty key to being a "dominant lineup."

if i was manager it may be a bit of a different story, however, as much as lou is kind of making me a bit upset lately...

 

i know that i am not in any way shape or form qualified to be a manager...maybe more of a GM...

 

so, i just tinker in my head...and get frustrated with lou!

My choice of words in "high horse" were wrong and I apologize. I mean hmm... how do I put it... he needs to learn to hit in other spots in the lineup. It is where he truly is needed and would make our healthy lineup completely dominant.

Given the severe lack of power, hopefully this is enough to get him starts 5 of every 7 games, at least while Sori is out.

I have no problem with Soriano batting leadoff, hes one of our best hitters. I'd rather have Lee leading off, but Soriano is a hell of a lot better than Theriot.
