Here's a sign! When the Cubs traded for Ramirez and Lofton in 03, the Phillies were in town. Then in 04 when the Cubs traded for Nomar, the Phillies were in town again! Look who is coming to town on Monday!?!?

I seem to recall the Cubs being in ATL when the Ramirez/Lofton deal was made. They had just lost a tough one to the Brave in which Tom Goodwin pulled up with a torn hamstring on a triple. Lofton was coming over to take CPatt's place and then later we re-aquired Doug Glanville because of Goodwin's injury.

Look who we went to visit when we traded for Matt Lawton in 2005. (The Phillies)

I was at Aram and Lofton's debut. It was a 3-0 loss to the Phils wher Randy Wolf pitched a complete game shutout and Thome hit a bomb onto Sheffield. I think Aram made a few errors that game as well.

Glanville's triple in the NLCS still brings a smile to my face.

That Ryan Braun is something else, is he anyway related to the great Lloyd Bruan?

Speaking of Seinfeld, did anyone else not realize that this was Entourage's very own Ari Gold as George Costanza?

Boy, this Reds interim manager is really a ditz. He leaves Livingston in to hit for himself (which he got a single out of), but then he goes to the bullpen to start the 7th inning.

I don't know what his story is, but he is 7-14 hitting this year.
