for those who haven't seen it, check out the Nationals' clown shoes defense on Jimmy Rollins' bases-empty, ninth-inning triple and score on subsequent error. Basically there was a miscommunication between the LF and CF which resulted in a dropped fly ball, then a bad throw from the LF that the SS couldn't scoop... it rolled away, he fired home probably in time to get Rollins, but the catcher didn't handle the throw. It was pathetic.
