Anyone know of any roster moves planned now that Lee is returning?

Lee's already on the roster (players serving suspensions are still on the roster). However, I think there's a chance the Cubs might send Moore or Fox down and bring somebody up (possibly Cedeno).

It's a foregone conclusion one or both of those two will be gone and Cedeno will be up. They need a backup for Riot.

I think Moore is the one likely to go down, since Fox was the first one called up and at the time Lou mentioned that Fox was going to get a look for a couple of weekd. I don't think they would have added Fox to the 40-man roster and started the option clock if the intention was just to bring him up for a few days while Lee was on suspension.

I think you're right. I'm guessing we see Moore sent back down and Cedeno, Murton, or Pie brought up. I'm guessing Fox will at least be here until the trading deadline in an attempt to get more offense when facing a lefty pitcher.

You might be right, he has only one XBH in his last ten games, and it was a double. He's in a power funk, so this might be a bad time to call him up and hope that it's what he provides. His overall numbers are still pretty good, but his slg seems to be trending downward.

 

I'd still bring him up and see what he can do. Hopefully the power outage is only temporary.

I saw Ronnie in Iowa today and he looked outstanding defensively.
