Hes been on fire this season and is providing legit 5 category value at MI. What are others thoughts on him? He might slag a little in the BA department, but is he becoming a Chase Utley light?

 

Also, do you prefer him or Carlos Guillen?

I have him on my team, and I love him - he's been one of my most consistent producers.

 

That said, he's nowhere near Chase Utley level. As for him vs. Carlos Guillen, I feel you can't really go wrong - without looking too closely at it, though, I can't say for sure which one I'd go for.

Him and Guillen are a tossup right now. Phillips has the slight edge this year. I'd be happy with either of them but if I had to choose it will depend on my weakness. Do I need more SBs(Phillips)? Do I need a better AVG(Guillen)? and so forth.

I swapped Cano for Phillips straight up about six weeks ago. Obviously very happy with that deal.

 

We keep four each year, and I think Phillips might creep up into that top four. Amazing, but he's been that good.
