Baseball Tonight was just showing highlights of their game tonight, and they gave Jeter credit for causing a balk. He was batting. The said his presence and movement in the batter's box caused the balk.

Who remembers that game last year where Jason Kendall was the winning run on 3rd base and K-Rod dropped a throw back from the catcher, and Kendall scored the winning run? I definitely think that is the reason we got him. His ability to make a pitcher drop throws back from the catcher, intangibles baby.

You know, if Jeter wasn't essentially canonized by the baseball media, I'd probably like him.
