Pure speculation, but Omar Vizquel seems like a Hendry move

Trust me, I'm not advocating it, but doesn't it seem like something Hendry would do? He's a big name player who plays spectacular defense and (most of the time) puts up a pretty high batting average with just about no power. With how the Giants are struggling, I can't imagine they wouldn't be looking to deal him to a contender, and Hendry just might be stupid enough to budge.

 

He's currently putting up a line of .238/.291/.303. Yeah, that's not his batting average by month.

 

This will be Hendry's big move. I can smell it.

I'd only take Vizquel if the Giants take back one of our problems: Jones, Eyre, or Izturis.

vizquel has already said that he only wants to be traded if it is to a competitor...i highly doubt that means the cubs

For a couple of years I have been hoping that Hendry would fall in love with a high average, good field SS who also took walks. A couple of years too late on vizquel.

Only if they take on Jones or Eyre. Them taking on Izturis wouldn't help because he's a FA at season's end just like Izturis is.
