I believe he is rehabbing but i could be wrong.

Try asking Raisin he knows about the minor leagues.

Actually Mateo is in Peoria. He is coming off an injury (sore shoulder) and is rehabbing. I think the Cubs rushed him a bit to get on the rehab trail but he should be ready real soon to move up to another level.

It shouldn't take much more than a month for him to get to Iowa at which point he'll be a possibility to pitch in the big leagues if needed.
