how about whenever we sign a new cub, or there's a really long and interesting discussion about a possible cubs transaction/a cubs news story, we put that in a new forum called "nsbb classics" or something that way people will stop randomly bumping these 1-2 year old threads.

because the whole thing is pointless to me. those threads went away for a reason.

A lot of people like to read what people's thoughts were back then to what they are now.

 

BTW, check a couple threads down in the "Hall of Fame" thread started by Derwood. I think you are proposing basically the same thing as he did.
