This has been a frustrating couple of innings.

 

Izturis strikes again. Seriously, what happened to this guy? He used to be a wizard with the leather.

I'm convinced that the only reason anyone here believes that is because we wanted to believe it's true, as it was the onnly glimmer of positive side from the Maddux trade.

This one isn't on Marquis right now-he should have only given up 1 so far (in the first). He's credited with 2 ER, but I think he should only have 1 (the DeRosa ball should have been a DP, and even if he only got 1 out, Marquis got a DP on the next batter).
