Interesting read and something i was thinking about the other day. What I think it is is the marginal players are better than they used to be and the stars are the same...so its a narrowing of the greatness gap.

 

But he has several very good points. There really isnt that much difference in the top tier players anymore.

it's kind of hard to take him seriously when he's campaigning for Willy Taveras and Kaz Matsui (but only when he has enough ABs!) to be on the all-star team.

 

he has something of a good point, but it's shrouded in idiocy.
