Let's talk Joe Girardi

I wanted Jim Leyland and Dave Dombroski (before he was extended) two years ago.

 

How have they done with the Tigers?

 

They've done great with some excellent talent. As far as DD goes, I do like the guy, and they way he has gone about building his team. As far as Leyland is concerned; he does the same stupid crap every other manager does that drives people (especially Sabr people) completely insane. He's been lucky to have some good young talent to throw out on a consistent basis. I mean, heck, the guy called for and got Neifi on his team.

Girardi would be a better manager, but we're stuck with Lou for three years unless he quits. We've seen how willing Hendry is to admit to mistakes.

 

I can't imagine Lou being here 3 years. I'm guessing he's a Yankee next year.

From what I recall hearing over the winter,Piniella wasn't interested in the Yankee job. I see Girardi as the next Yankee manager.
