I just found out from the April edition of Vine Line that Pat Hughes is the creator and narrator of a new "Baseball Voices" series of CDs paying tribute to great baseball announcers. The three currently available are Harry Caray, Jack Buck, and Marty Brennaman. I just ordered the Harry Caray CD tonight (it was rated a home run in the writeup in Vine Line). Hopefully there will be more coming out in the future; there really needs to be one for Jack Brickhouse. There's a web site devoted to the series.

Yeah. I heard about that awhile ago. (pat was ad'ing it in an interview). Let us know how the harry carrey one is. I might get that. I just wish you could get it other than money order. I'm too impatient. Give me direct download pay and I'll do it!

I got the CD today and enjoyed it. It's good to hear some of Caray's calls again. I especially enjoyed hearing his calls in the Sandberg game; I hadn't heard them before since the telecast was a national telecast.
