But I have to ask...how do you pronounce her name? Is it Mc KenzEE or Mc Kenz-eye? My wife always prays the rosary for any newborns, so i'm going to pass your little one along to her. Just want to get the pronunciation right!!

It's pronounced the normal way --- Mah-ken-zee. We threw the "y" in to go along with the "y" in Ryne's name.

 

There's nothing quite like making sure the entire world misspells your children's names. Ryne comes home from church and preschool every week with "Ryan" on his stuff :)

 

 

One of my friends has already given McKenzye a nick name. . . . . McFaith!

no one will ever spell (or pronounce) my older daughter's name either, but that's because we chose a Dutch spelling of a commonly Swedish name. You, on the other hand, just totally made it up :D

That's a shame! My wife is pregnant as well. But I already have a Ryne. It's a middle name and a girl, but I didn't know if I'd have anymore kids and she was my last shot!

 

This one's a boy, so I'm thinking Aramis Lee........................ yeah, don't think the wife will go for that! LOL!

 

 

On a side note: Did you hear about the Alabama fan that has a boy named Tyde (For Crimson Tide) and a newborn they named Saban. That's an understanding wife as well!

Oh lord! You have a lefty!! MAKE HIM A PITCHER!!! I played 1st base for 12 years but I dearly dearly regret not pitching. Every coach tried to get me to pitch on account of being tall and left handed, but I was terrified of comebackers...even though I played 1st base, which can be a pretty hot corner at times..

 

Seriously though....get him into pitching!! That's a sure fire way to get a scholarship. There are lefty pitchers who outright stink who get scholarships to play college ball purely on account of being a lefty.
