I always do an autodraft on Yahoo at the very beginning - as it allows me to take advantage of poorly ranked players. This year was no different, but I have holes at SV and SBs.

C: Bengie Molina - Im thinking of dropping him for Kendall b/c those 10 SBs are a need.

1B: Jason Giambi - Love this power with no BA b/c my BA rocks everywhere else.

2B: Tadahito Iguchi - Decent, won't kill my BA adds a few HRs and SBs

SS: Michael Young - Hit for more power plz, nice BA

3B: Miguel Cabrera - Yeah thanks for the .330 BA!

OF: Manny Ramirez - Yeah thanks for the .320 BA!

OF: Rocco Baldelli - Hit for power plz.

OF: Coco Crisp - PECOTA has you hitting .310 son! SBs plz

UT: Aramis Ramirez - Great production

Like I said the only hole for me on offense is SBs. It's a h2h league so I can survive there with a SB only guy. Im trying to trade for Brian Roberts. My bench sucks.

Marcus Giles - trying to trade for speed or SVs

Curtis Granderson - dropping for Salomen Torres

Brandon Inge - dropping for Jonathan Broxton

Craig Monroe - dropping for Taylor Tankersley

SP: Ben Sheets - stay healthy

SP: Felix Hernandez - return to form plz

SP: Cole Hamels - 06 second half plz

SP: Rich Hill - 06 second half plz

SP: Jon Papelnon - I so want you back in the bullpen.

SP: John Patterson - trade bait for bottom teir closer. hopefully.

SP: Mark Prior - 2003 plz

RP: Mike Gonzalez - oh plz close sometime.

I always conceed SV on Yahoo leagues.

Hell, in my league last year I ran Liriano out of the RP spot (after he got moved into the rotation). It gave me a leg up on all the stats but saves... Granted, Liriano is a special case, but I'm sure you can find a couple solid pitching prospects who came out of the pen last year, or start this year in it. (Brandon McCarthy springs to mind)

Can you list your players in round form? You seemingly have a lot of guys I would think would go between like 3 and 6...it would be interesting to see who falls in the auto draft. Also, is this a 10 team league?

Ive also agreed to a trade that will go final tomorrow if it's not vetoed. Praise be to kent that it hasn't yet.

I get:

Hanley Ramirez

Derrek Lee

Bobby Jenks

I give:

Jason Giambi

Michael Young

Jonathan Papelbon

I get me 35 saves and 70 steals while keeping the same BA and losing oh 30 or so RBIs. I stole that deal. <3

Hitting is good, and I think the Gooch is underrated, so that's good, but you're pitching is very iffy on the health. You seem to be relying a ton on what you hope will happen, which is career seasons for everyone.

As for the trade, even though I think Young might rebound a bit and that Jenk's ERA sucks, you definitely got a much better deal. I'm not sold on Papelbon starting and Lee is a great sleeper.

Hah, maybe this guy is actually Jim Hendry in disguise then.

But in all seriousness, that is a pretty decent team. As long as this is more of a fun league than it being super serious that you want to win, anyway. The team could be either really good or really really bad. I basically did the same thing as I was bored and wanted to draft a team right away. You can look/laugh at my team if you wish(found here)
