Reds Announcer Joe Nuxhall Hospitalized

The Reds officially open spring training today when pitchers and catchers report.

 

They'll do so with one legend missing. Joe Nuxhall, a fixture in the organization for 63 years, remains in Sarasota Memorial Hospital, being treated for a recurrence of lymphoma. He's expected to remain hospitalized for a few more days.

i think he did officially, but he was on quite a lot when i'd flip to a reds game on the radio.
