Does Myers still project to be a useful player? Is that the same Mohoney that used to be a Cub?

Probably not. He was a reach by the Diamondbacks, apparently he has learned how to catch too so that might be helpful.

Same Mahoney.

Oh, him. I confused him with Corey Smith, another failed first round pick. I remember when Myers was drafted he was considered a signability pick, though the D-backs argued he wasn't.

Tony Miller is mildly interesting. Awesome OBP two years in a row at AA Tulsa in '04 and '05 (.384 and .400) but he fell apart last year. Anyone know anything more on him?

I guess Edgar Omana could be interesting too. Lefty reliever who posted good numbers in the Yankees GCL league but then had a bad showing in the NY Penn League. Seem like he had the injury bug because he didn't pitch much in 04 and 05.

Jason Hart was Oakland's No. 2 prospect back in 2001. Hit 0.326 with 30 HR's in AA (alas in hitter friendly Midland). Was traded to the Rangers and fell rapidly from sight.

"He has the bat to be an everyday first baseman in the majors". Baseball America's Prospect Handbook (2001).
