Hendry was supposed to be on (listening to the radio)?

At about 2:30 WSCR said Hendry will be on in about a half hour to talk about the Soriano signing. I don't know if they ment they were going to carry a press conference, or have him on.

 

Has anyone heard him yet? I've been switching between WSCR and WGN.

He was just on XM 175. Didn't say too much, but I only caught the last few minutes.

 

He did mention that Piniella never mentioned that he wanted the Cubs to break the bank and spend a lot of money, that it just kinda worked out that way. Still kinda praised Dusty, which was classy.

 

He sounded pretty excited, which he should be.

i caught them talking about him on xm, though i didn't hear the interview. however, the interviewer repeatedly quoted hendry as saying "this will not be the team we field on opening day."
