Neifi Perez, who entered with just two RBI as a member of the Tigers, was credited with a three-run double in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

It should have been a routine single up the middle, but Corey Patterson was so lazy in playing it that Brandon Inge, who was running on the play, was able to score all the way from first and Neifi made it to second, which was uncovered on the play. Perez is batting .176 in his four weeks with the Tigers. It looks like he'll continue to get a fair amount of playing time with Placido Polanco calling himself done for the year.

Did anybody see this play? Was it really as bad as described above?

Boy that was the strangest thread title ever.

I saw it, Corey was a little late getting to the ball. Nothing worse then what I've seen Jacque do at times this year.
