you can trade for minor leaguers. you have to wait until sunday to execute the trade though in case someone ahead of him makes a claim.

Now, if we do trades for players that have CLEARED waivers we don't have to keep them..........correct?

 

My understanding of the rules is that you only have to keep a player for next year if you claim them and work a trade. Am I correct in this?
