Jose Cruz DFA'ed by Dodgers

Ha, Jose Cruz Jr. He cost the Giants game 3 of the 2003 NLDS against Florida because he dropped an easy, routine fly ball. The Marlins ended up getting the game winning hit with two outs (they were down 1) in that inning. Then he hurt them in Game 4 by making a horrible throw late in the game. His bad throw allowed an extra run to score and the Giants ended up losing by 1. Personally, I loved it but Giants fans didn't.

 

Oh, and he was brought in for his defense and arm as well.

Cruz would be a great 4th OF for next year.
