FYI -- came across this person's website on the Globalization of Baseball after he posted at Bleed Cubbie Blue about an interview he has scheduled with Jose Serra (listed as Latin-American Supervisor and head scout) on Thursday. He said if anyone had any questions, they could be submitted through his website.

 

People might also be interested in his writeup of visiting the Cubs D.R. academy.

 

I don't know him, but the interview sounds like something that people here would be eager to help out with some questions in hopes of getting the answers back!

I like that in Italian, pitchers apparantly translates to launchers. I'm guessing a pullman is a bus (although that meant train long ago)
