The Cubs are "Destiny's Doormat"?

If you suffered through a FOX broadcast of the Cubs on Saturday, maybe you heard them call the Cubs "destiny's doormat." Good grief. It's not destiny. It's a lousy manager and not enough good players. I'm pretty sick of the curse talk and all that. Too easy to balme a goat or destiny, but that's not it at all.

It's Fox - they appeal to the lowest common denominator in their baseball coverage. Do like the rest of us do and, unless they bring Al Leiter back, keep the sound off when Fox is your only option.

The Cubs are destiny's doormat, it's just that they also happen to be incompetently run. Nothing like a stupid franchise with bad luck.
