Since Walker drove in the only run in the 1-0 win against Oswalt, it makes no sense that he is not starting tonight. Even if Nefi has a good game, I would still start Walker. They should trade him or DFA if they aren't going to use him!

Well we have demanded accountability and Walker sitting after his last game IS accountability. Too bad Dusty will ONLY hold Walker accountable and no one else.

Dusty's argument for starting Neifi

Neifi against Oswalt

.409/.409/.455 in 22 at bats

Walker against Oswalt

.214/.233/.310 in 42 at bats

What did Murton do? I flipped to the game and Dusty was in the middle of saying something about having to keep playing even though we are not in the race. Then showed Murton and announcers saying that Murton will have to learn........I must have missed something.

Random thought:

Alex Rodriguez, Jorge Posada, Hideki Matsui, and Gary Sheffield are all out of action, and the Yankees are still fielding a team that's arguably better than the Cubs (the combined OPS of their 1-8 hitters is higher than that of ours).

1) Jim Hendry should be fired because this is the team he put together.

2) Baker should be fired because these are the players he wanted.

3) Payroll does make a difference.

How deep was it? Must have been shallow, or else Huff doesn't know that Slap Nasty's arm is worse than 10 year old softball player's arm.

Not very deep plus the wind helped since it is blowing in. Sort of blowing in....NE wind.
