I saw Jimmy Williams work up close and personal in Houston. He's basically Dusty without the charm or warmth.

 

And I don't see Hendry hiring anything but a retread manager, as he'll be too risk averse to hand over the team to an unproven AAA manager like Shines when he's on the hotseat.

Dusty will be replaced with someone from the current Cub system, the new guy won't come until next year. That's how I see it. No big splashes, nothing we can't predict, just same old humdrum stuff...I'm sick of humdrum from these guys.
