It's just an idea, not a rumor or anything, I'm just contemplating a few things here.

 

Wut would it take to get Bobby Keilty from the A's? He's a versatile player who can playe all 3 outfield postions well and has played some 1B. He also had a career OBP 100 pts over his career BA (. 354-.254). His career line as a PH isn't too shabby either (.304/.365/.482/.847). Oakland's OF is kind of crowded, and I'd much rather see Keilty pinch hit for us over Neifi or Bynum, and our outfield isnt exactly what you would call stellar anyway. Thoughts, opinions? Is this just a bunch of nonsense?

Kielty has great splits vs lefties. Getting him to platoon with Jones would be a smart move, but Hendry and co. don't seem to think they have a problem in right field.
