I have four closers. Joe Nathan (Twins), Ryan Dempster (Cubs), Trevor Hoffman (Padres), and Eric Gagne (Dodgers). I think 4 is to many so I thought about trading one of them. Since Gagne is coming off the DL I thought about trading him. As I think he may have an inflated trade value because he's Gagne. What are some thoughts on this.

Get rid of Gagne is someone is dumb enough to give you value. After that I'd say it's a toss up between Dempster and Hoffman. Ryan is better but Hoffman will get more opportunities.

I traded Gagne for Chris Capuano (SP) Brewers. Was that a decent trade.

I really don't think Gagne will anything but a shell of his old self, and Capuano could turn it around and be a steal.

Whats the problem with having too many closers?
