Weekend Series

I'm going to two of the 3 games down here this weekend...my question is...Should I? I've never been more discouraged and unexcited about the Cubs coming to town...I guess if we win today and sweep the series this weekend we "might" get within 10 games or so...I guess that's something to shoot for...of course that would require us to win 6 games in a row, including one in which Glendon Rusch pitches to Albert Pujols...I never thought I'd an attempted bunt with 2 outs in the 9th so I guess anything can happen....

 

What are everyone's thoughts for the weekend? Anyone else going?

You have to decide whether the potential entertainment value is worth the hassle and likely frustration.

 

Personally, I wouldn't go.

Go. It's always a fun rivalry. Be loud, be obnoixus. Go to St. Louis is full Cubs gear. Anytime I go to St. Louis, I always make sure to pack ALL my Cubs gear.

I live here...packing isn't a problem...its putting up with friends/aquaintances that I'll see the rest of the week....right now I'm not realistically hoping to win the series....just to avoid humiliation.

I'm going to the Friday night game. I have tickets to the Saturday game, but I'm not going to use them. If anyone wants them, let me know. Otherwise they're going to go unused.
